The aim of the project is to increase the competences of didactic staff that is people who run extra-curricular classes in the field of IT as well as the activation of IT talented young people increasing creativity and promoting team work in the framework of IT scientific circles.
The CMI project is a complex concept of increasing Polish IT education directed at the education of talented pupils with the engagement of the best technical universities in the country. Thanks to the implementation of the aforementioned aims the project will enhance the willingness of pupils to develop their interests in the field of algorithms and programming, it will serve to disseminate the idea of IT competitions and will help in finding the teams which are able to face competition in IT competitions on the country level and worldwide. CMI will lead to increase the didactic competences of 1500 people who run scientific circles and 12000 pupils.
The project is directed to teachers of primary and secondary schools and to other adults who show talents and skills to work with talented young people- from classes IV-VI and VII-VIII of primary schools and secondary schools (with general and technical profiles) and to branch schools of the 1st and 2nd cycles.
Centrum Mistrzostwa Informatycznego ensures a participation in a prestigious country-wide project as well as a cooperation of didactic circles of higher education institutions and school teachers.
